What protects you

Six safeguards, one at every stage of your order.

  1. 01You set the terms

    Your specification becomes the contract.

    • Every condition you choose (variety, quality, growing method, permitted inputs, harvest, packing, delivery) is a written term, each with a named way of proving it.
    • Acceptance is recorded with a one-time code and a fingerprint of the terms, so the terms cannot change after signing.
  2. 02Only checked farmers sign

You know who you are buying from.

    • Every account confirms its email. Farm certificates, such as NAQS, organic or GAP, count only after an OXiAgro reviewer has checked them.
    • Each listing shows how far it has been verified, and certified farms are marked as such.
  3. 03The crop is grown under watch

What happens in the field is on the record.

    • Every input, treatment and field visit is recorded when it happens and cannot be changed or backdated afterwards.
    • With Watch, OXiAgro agronomists check the crop by photo, satellite and visit, and treat it only with products your contract permits.
  4. 04Independent checks before harvest

    Quality is tested, not claimed.

    • Accredited laboratories test the crop against the limits in your contract. Their accreditation is checked by OXiAgro first.
    • If you require a NAQS-certified farm, the harvest cannot be certified until OXiAgro has approved the farm's NAQS certificate.
  5. 05Delivery you can follow

    Every hand-over is logged.

    • The carrier posts collection, location and temperature updates on an electronic waybill, and marks the lot delivered only when it arrives.
    • You inspect the lot on arrival and confirm delivery, or record what is wrong.
  6. 06You pay only on evidence

Your money moves only when the work is proven.

    • With escrow, your payment is held at a partner bank and released in agreed stages, each only after its milestone is verified.
    • A release cannot skip a stage, and the schedule is fixed once the first release is made.

Compared with buying the usual way

The risks you carry today, and what changes.

The usual riskOn Oxi Market with OXiAgro
You cannot tell how the crop was grown or what was sprayed on it.Every input and treatment is recorded as it happens and checked against your permitted list.
A certificate is shown to you, but you cannot tell if it is real.OXiAgro checks certificates against the scan and the issuer before they count.
You pay in advance and hope the goods arrive as agreed. With escrow you pay in stages, each only after its milestone is verified.
Quality is argued about on arrival, with no evidence.Lab results, inspection notes, photos and the delivery log are on the contract.
The lot is mishandled or kept warm on the way.The carrier logs every hand-over and temperature on the electronic waybill.
A dispute becomes your word against theirs.Platform records are the agreed evidence, and OXiAgro can mediate.

The rules

Ten rules every party agrees to.

These rules apply to every contract on Oxi Market Agro. Each party also agrees to its own instructions on each contract before it can act.

  1. Every party (buyer, farmer, laboratory, agency, carrier, bank, insurer and agronomist) reads its own instructions on each contract and agrees to them before it can act. Agreements are dated and visible to all parties.
  2. The farmer grows, treats, harvests and packs exactly as the contract states, using only the inputs it permits, and does not sell the contracted crop to anyone else.
  3. Every input, treatment, visit, test and hand-over is recorded when it happens. Records cannot be edited or backdated, and they are the agreed evidence in any dispute.
  4. A milestone is paid only after the right party has verified its evidence: the buyer, an OXiAgro agronomist, an accredited laboratory or an agency. Evidence can be returned with a reason.
  5. Laboratories, agencies, banks and insurers must hold a certificate approved by OXiAgro before they can certify a milestone or release money.
  6. External certificates count only once an OXiAgro reviewer has checked them. Expired certificates stop counting automatically.
  7. Escrow is optional. When it is on, the schedule is suggested by Oxi Market and agreed by both buyer and farmer; changes need both to agree again.
  8. Disputes are raised in the contract messages first. An OXiAgro dispute officer can mediate and records the outcome on the timeline for every party to see.
  9. Anyone checking or certifying declares any conflict of interest before acting, and never certifies what they have not checked.
  10. Each party sees only the contracts it is on. Farm data is shared only with the parties to that contract, and certificate scans only with OXiAgro reviewers.

Who checks what

Every party has a defined part, and nobody marks their own work.

Buyer

Sets the terms, checks evidence, confirms delivery, releases escrow.

Farmer

Grows to the contract, records everything, submits evidence.

OXiAgro agronomist

Supervises the crop and treatment decisions when Watch is on.

Accredited laboratory

Tests samples against the contract's limits.

Agency, such as NAQS

Inspects and certifies within its statutory mandate.

Carrier or airline

Carries the lot under the contract's conditions and logs every hand-over.

Partner bank

Holds escrow and releases each stage once verified.

Licensed insurer

Covers the risks the buyer chose and pays valid claims.

OXiAgro reviewers and officers

Check certificates, supervise contracts and mediate disputes.

Oxi Market and OXiAgro record, verify and settle. Escrow funds are held by a partner bank, insurance is provided by licensed insurers, and certificates are issued by the laboratories and agencies that hold the mandate. In this pilot, escrow releases are recorded as instructions to the partner bank once it is connected.

Order with protection built in.

Set your terms, choose escrow if you want it, and let the process do the checking.
